Telemedicine
Rainflower Psychiatry is primarily utilizing Telemedicine. Telemedicine is also known as Telehealth, enabling video appointments between patients and health care practitioners. Many patients and practitioners have found that Telehealth services are just as effective as in-person treatment, and often preferred because of ease of access, privacy, and convenience.
Even those who don’t consider themselves “Tech experts” will find that with just the click of a link they can access their appoinment. Understandably, not all patients are starting with the same technology capabilities, we are glad to provide guidance.
Virtual appointments are held via a secure platform called Doxy.me
Patients must reside and be physically located in the State of Oregon or Washington at the time of their scheduled telehealth appointment.
Telehealth appointments may not be appropriate in all situations. When in-person assessment is necessary appoinment will be prearranged for in office visits.
